March 17, 2016

Growing the quantity of teams and leagues in each district is certainly one of the most important responsibilities a District Administrator may have. Performance can be measured not only by the quality of service given to the actual leagues and its members, but also development of the area entrusted to the person elected to administering it.

This is why finding ways to provide diverse mechanisms to your leagues with which they can experience a tournament-like feeling or perhaps travel shorter and less expensive distances to play against other teams in the program while keeping safety standards intact, is paramount.

Using Special Games to facilitate an added value experience to players and parents will promote growth in your district. It will provide immediate benefits such as: tournament feeling, traveling, interacting with other families and discovering other communities, and multiple games.

To better understand this great tool, its process and rules involved we have created a basic guide outlining the benefits of utilizing Special Games with Little League and non-Little League teams.
